How to make your filter public

By default, filters are created in a private. That means only you can see the filter you have created. To make it public you will have to change the permission. To do that, please follow the steps given below:

  1. Open the filter you have just created. To do that, choose Issues > Search for issues and click the filter you have created. By default, your filter are kept in favorite, if it is not then search filters (see How to search filters tutorial)

  2. Next, click Details next to filter name.

  3. Next, click Edit permissions

  4. Next, choose Everyone in Add Shares section and click Add. This you add everyone in Shares section. And click Save. That’s all.

How to edit your filters or it’s permission

  1. Open filter list page To do that, choose Issues > Search for issues and click the filter name. (see How to search filters tutorial)
  2. Next, click Details next to filter name.

  4. Next, you can edit filter name, permission etc and then click Save. That’s all
